Hailing from Gliwice, Poland, Kasia Sokalla’s stunning voice has entertained audiences in the United States and across Europe.
A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Berklee College of Music, Kasia established herself as a world-class artist including: concerts, TV appearances & recordings.
Invited to perform by Kościuszko Foundation, Pol-Am Congress and PANO she sang, among others, for Polish dignitaries in the USA, e.g. Lech Wałęsa, Tadeusz Mazowiecki & Ambassador to US, Przemysław Grudziński.
Kasia’s unforgettable performances have earned a variety of awards and led to singing at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston, Methuen Organ Hall, MA State House, Peabody-Essex Museum, Regattabar, Ryles , International Folk Festivals in NYC & MA.
She has worked with concert organists: Leo Abbott, Ed Broms, Rosalind Mohnsen, Patrick Kabanda as well as Yoko Miwa, Dr. Geoffrey Hicks, Bob Moses, Gilad Barkan, Alexei Tsiganov, The Winikers Jazz Orchestra, John Baboian, Bob Winter, Steve Hunt, Ilene Stahl (Klezperanto), Sinfonietta Polonia and KAIROS Vocal Ensemble.
This versatile vocalist shines in variety of musical styles: jazz, Gregorian chant, oratorio, theater, folk etc. Her newest project, KASIANA -Vocal Artistry, focuses on classical scat.
